Followed by 34 tissue-guarded plates featuring bone and stone implements, bronze implements, bronze daggers & swords, bronze shields, bronze helmets, bronze trumpets, iron daggers & swords, enamelled horse trappings, bronze fibulae, collars & armlets, bronze personal ornaments, silver and bronze brooches, urns etc. Some spots of light foxing on prelims and occasionally in text. Plates clean. Hinges cracked internally but binding tight. Heavy brown cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine and gilt emblem on front board. blindstamp decoration on both boards. Cloth at top and bottom of spine chipped but present. Corners bumped. One small deep dent on front board which has also dented first few pages but without tearing. Overall condition VG.
