Bookplate of Sir Robert Gore Booth of Lissadell House, Co. Sligo on feps. Vol I - short tear on half-title page. Rear hinge cracked but binding firm. Vol II - rear hinge cracked but binding firm. Text very clean in both volumes. Both volumes bound in maroon cloth boards with gilt lettering and embellishments on spines. Spines faded. Vol I - front edge of spine split for about 2 inches at top, rear edge of spine split for about 1 inch at top and bottom. Both vols - corners bumped and rubbed. Overall condition VG. |
